The Shanks Family Dentistry building transformed an abandoned residential structure into a functional dental office. Located near a local high school, the project reimagined an underutilized property as a healthcare space that fits comfortably within its neighborhood setting.
The project involved a complete rehabilitation of the existing building to meet contemporary healthcare standards and operational needs. Interior spaces were reconfigured to support dental services while creating an environment appropriate for patients of all ages.
On the exterior, the building was refreshed with Arts & Crafts–inspired details to give it a more approachable, residential scale. The result is a healthcare practice that feels familiar and welcoming, reinforcing its connection to the surrounding neighborhood as the business grows.
