Whitney White is a licensed interior designer and architectural intern at GAE Architecture + Design. She is currently pursuing her Master of Architecture with a concentration in sustainability at the University of Tennessee. Whitney believes architecture and interior design should work together to create cohesive spaces that tell a unified story from outside to inside.
Her experience covers a variety of project types and sizes. She enjoys guiding a project from idea to completion, with a particular interest in space planning and the small details that transform environments. Whitney is dedicated to designing spaces that are not only highly functional but also support, engage, and inspire the people who use them.
Whitney earned her Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the University of Tennessee and continues to expand her skills through her graduate studies and professional experience. Her interdisciplinary background helps her integrate interior and architectural thinking, enhancing project narratives from start to finish.
Outside of work and studio, Whitney actively volunteers and mentors within her community. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors with her dog, exploring local breweries and coffee shops, and reading a good book. She seeks adventure and is always on the lookout for her next hobby or travel destination. She loves rock climbing, woodworking, cooking, and is in the early stages of baking.
