Jessie earned her Master of Architecture from the University of South Florida’s School of Architecture and Community Design in 2022. Living in Tampa, Florida at the time gave her access to a melting pot of cultures and cuisines. As a direct impact, her time at USF grew her fascination with how cultures inform architecture differently and revealed the ongoing conversation between a community and its architecture. Subsequently, this led to shaping Jessie’s interest in sustainable community design.

Her experience in hospitality has developed Jessie’s views on relationships and leadership. She enjoys collaborating with others and the processes that go into designing and building a project. Influenced by her previous leadership team, Jessie strongly encourages mentorship and taking ownership of an individual’s impact on firm and work culture.

Jessie advocates for architecture that is accessible to all communities and believes that architects have a responsibility to speak out for their community’s needs – and more importantly – to fulfill them. Integrating her compassion for foster care, Jessie lives out these beliefs by volunteering with Isaiah 117 House to support kids in ways that tangibly and emotionally meet needs as kids transition into the foster care system.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband (Tyler) and dog (Gus) and is an active member at her church. Jessie delights in time spent with the Lord, whether it’s through worship music or Bible studies. You can typically find her in a local tea shop drinking boba and hanging out with her best friends.
