An architectural designer with over 10 years of experience. Munzir is passionate about creating architecture that sits well in its ecological context. He is highly dedicated to the craft, a lifelong learner and a skilled conceptual designer. He comes with the skills and expertise of several successful projects in the US, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Munzir completed his Master’s of Architecture in Sustainable Design at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where his Thesis project received the Robert B Church III Graduate Award. He continues to have a keen research interest in climate-responsive design in hot-arid climates, which master thesis explored. Munzir has been a volunteer and active member at the local Muslim Community of Knoxville (MCK) since he moved to Knoxville in 2021.

He loves drawing, sketching and calligraphy, for architectural and artistic work. When not at GAE, you will find Munzir at a nearby soccer grounds, spending time outdoors with his family and friends, or at a local pottery studio with his beloved wife, Aisha.
