Modern retail showroom interior of Brown Squirrel Furniture featuring a variety of leather sofas, chairs, and decorative lighting, designed and built by George Ewart, a top commercial architect firm in Knoxville, TN.

Brown Squirrel Furniture involved the transformation of an existing warehouse into an expanded retail showroom, bringing the brand’s total showroom footprint to 70,000 sq ft. The project reimagines the space to better showcase Brown Squirrel’s wide range of furniture offerings while creating a more engaging, customer-friendly shopping experience.

The design focused on maximizing the existing warehouse footprint while organizing the showroom in a way that feels clear and easy to navigate. Updates extend beyond the showroom floor. The exterior façade was refreshed with a new stone veneer to strengthen the building’s presence, and electric vehicle parking was added to support evolving customer needs.

Inside, a full-scale log cabin replica serves as a feature display, creating an immersive setting that highlights cabin-style furniture and reinforces the brand’s identity.
