St. Joseph the Worker
Religion

St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church is expanding to support a growing parish through the addition of a new Family Life Center and multipurpose spaces. The new building includes a 200-seat gathering space with a kitchen and vestries on the main level, with religious education classrooms and flexible program rooms located below.

The design approach centered on improving connectivity between the new addition and the existing church. By positioning the new building closer, the project creates a covered drop-off, shared lobby, and clear vertical circulation. This allows parishioners to move easily between buildings on both levels, reinforcing the experience of a unified campus.
The new drop-off and sunscreen elements were carefully designed to blend the existing and new structures, creating a seamless architectural connection while supporting daily use and larger parish events.
