Truth Traveler

Miscellaneous

Exterior view of the Truth Traveler attraction featuring vibrant neon lights, a welcoming entrance with "WELCOME" signage, and a planet display, designed and built by George Ewart, a top commercial architect firm in Knoxville, TN.

The Truth Traveler 3D Experience is an immersive attraction developed for Answers in Genesis that combines virtual reality, motion seating, sensory effects, and interactive storytelling to bring moments from biblical history to life.

Colorful retail space featuring a blue and orange themed display with a model aircraft, surrounded by plush toys on circular shelves, showcasing merchandise in a vibrant shopping environment designed for immersive experiences.

The design was driven by the futuristic theme of the attraction and the need to stand out within Pigeon Forge’s dense entertainment market. Working alongside Kingdom Productions on theming and interior design, the layout supports multiple immersive environments while guiding guests clearly through each stage of the experience.

Key elements include: a lobby styled like an airport terminal, custom elevator cabs (holding up to 36 people), a glowing light tunnel, nine individual VR pods (seating 12 guests each), and Rae’s Stargazer Planetarium featuring suspended planets and cloud shapes.

Simulation by SimWorks Studios, lighting & sound by Theme Park AV, and the 5D VR motion experience by Mindscape Creative come together through cinematic sequences with motion and water effects.

The many teams and components involved in this project created a layered experience that blends technology, storytelling, and environment. The completed attraction introduced a distinctive biblical-themed destination to Pigeon Forge and attracts visitors from all over.

This project won the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Tennessee Build Knoxville Award.
