Universal Pizza Company came to GAE looking to renovate an existing restaurant building to align with its established brand identity. The concept we designed together centers on creating a welcoming destination in Clinton, where families and friends can gather to enjoy a relaxed dining experience built around a playful “out of this world” theme.
The restaurant features an open environment with exposed ceilings, a central bar, and large glass garage doors that connect the dining area to exterior views. Interior windows into the kitchen allow guests to see the energy and craftsmanship of the staff as meals are prepared.
A curving soffit at the entry establishes a memorable arrival moment, while layered lighting within the dark ceiling plane creates rhythm and visual continuity throughout the space. The result is a lively yet comfortable restaurant environment that blends bold branding with an approachable atmosphere.
